Looking into the specs of your phone, you must not think of installing Android. Moreover,Boot to Gecko (Firefox OS) uses a kernel derived from Android, with a Gecko-based user interface on top of it.

You can have a look at the articles below for some insights -

Okay, maybe Android wouldn’t work….. but how about the Ubuntu Smartphone OS or the Firefox OS.. I read somewhere the Firefox OS doesn’t need that much hardware firepower ..

Thanks

Forget about running android on that phone. It is not possible without being a complete expert in android firmwares and drivers.

I think it has most of the

needed hardware

requirements. Just google

the specs. 10mb inbuilt

space maybe,not sure but I

have an Sd card. I could

boot android from that,

couldn’t I ?

well to put android on a non android phone it is not easy because of hardware specifications; You need the minimum required ram for android and also other hardware requirements. If i am not wrong your phone has 10 MB inbuilt? not enough

well it depends, you also need processor to handle android OS. Samsung Rex 70 runs on Samsung’s proprietary operating system which supports Java apps. I doubt your processor (XMM 2250m) will do android as well.

someone must develop the right Android firmware for your phone otherwise you will have problems either the phone will not boot or some functions not working.
