Setting up a private match on Rebirth Island is easy, as the process is very similar to doing the same thing in Verdansk. Call of Duty: Warzone players simply need to find the button at the bottom of the Warzone playlist. Select the desired game mode to enter the lobby screen for custom matches. Simply switch the map from Verdansk to Rebirth Island and start gathering friends. There is still a minimum number of players required to start a custom match on Rebirth Island, so players won’t be able to explore the place completely freely, but this still opens up a ton of possibilities.

One of the more intriguing options available now is the ability for streamers or tournament organizers to create custom lobbies for viewers or competitors. This is already frequently done with the larger map of Verdansk, but many seem to prefer the more condensed and fast paced variant that comes from Rebirth Island. Add this together with all of the new content coming to Call of Duty: Warzone form the season 3 update and there is sure to be no shortage of things to do.

Call of Duty: Warzone season 3 is available to play now, so players that haven’t yet should be sure to log on and start the download. Activision has already revealed a season 3 roadmap for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and players can expect a lot of that to transition straight over into Warzone. There’s also new events and game modes to experience within BOCW, so be sure to check those out as well.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
