While both the AMAX and Kilo assault rifles have received a lot of attention in the early stages of this season, Call of Duty professional NICKMERCS has put his attention on the FARA 83. Call of Duty: Warzone’s latest patch has changed up the meta in huge ways, and NICKMERCS is using the recent changes to make the FARA perform much more like a lethal submachine gun than the medium-range assault rifle players are likely familiar with.

His loadout focuses entirely on making the FARA as fast as possible so that it can dominate close-quarters encounters across Call of Duty: Warzone’s new 1984 Verdansk. To start, he kits the gun with a Gru Suppressor and 18.7" Spetsnaz RPK Barrel. Both attachments increase the FARA’s effective damage range as well as the bullet velocity to make it deal damage as quickly as possible, a big advantage in close-quarters engagements. Of course, the suppressor also helps players stay undetected by suppressing the weapon’s shots.
Then there is the KGB Skeletal Stock, buffing the FARA’s movement speed while ADS as well as decreasing its sprint to fire time. This attachment is a big part of the loadout and helps players react quickly to enemy movements. Then there is the Infiltrator Grip which enhances player movement speed while shooting while aiming, and overall. The grip is another big part of the loadout that helps players position themselves during encounters more effectively. Lastly, there is the Spetsnaz 50 Rnd magazine, which is pretty self-explanatory. While NICKMERCS seems pretty excited about the loadout, his opinion is still unclear on whether or not Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 lived up to his hopes.
The loadout is pretty impressive and definitely makes the assault rifle perform much more similar to a lightning-fast and devastatingly lethal SMG. Season 3’s new meta will take some time to shake out and make itself clear, but NICKMERCS’ loadout for the FARA seems like an early contender for one of the better options players have to dominate close range encounters. While the meta shakes out, however, there is a ton of new Call of Duty: Warzone content thanks to Season 3, making now a great time for new and experienced players alike to jump in and see what’s new and different.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
