The Bruen MK9 was the king of Call of Duty: Warzone a few months ago until an update knocked it off the top of the ladder. Since then, players have been mostly switching between the Grau, M13, and Kilo 141. The state of Warzone has changed quite a bit since then, so NICKMERCS felt it was time to create a new loadout for the weapon.

Bruen MK9 “No Recoil” Loadout
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor Barrel: XKR Summit 26. 8” Optic: VLK 3. 0x Optic Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
This new loadout is pretty similar to the previous Call of Duty: Warzone Bruen loadout. The main difference is the former used a Tac Laser while this one uses the Commando Foregrip. This change helps to balance the gun’s increased recoil and counter the nerf that killed its initial reign. 60 Round Mags allow the player to shoot more between reloads, while the optic and barrel provide the gun the necessary damage at range in order to pick off enemies.
The attached Suppressor on this gun helps combat the current issue of overpowered melee in Call of Duty: Warzone. With how many new melee weapons exist in the game, more players are trying to find ways to either keep their distance or stay quiet when enemies are nearby. The Suppressor also helps the player give less of their position away when using the 3.0x Optic at a distance.
As with any new loadout, it will only stay as powerful as the game allows it. Once another content update is released, there might be something even bigger and better for players to try out. Players still have some time before Black Ops Cold War is integrated into Warzone, and there is not telling what chaos that will bring.
For now, players should try out this Bruen build and see if it fits their playstyle. This isn’t the first NICKMERCS “no recoil” Warzone build to go viral, so it is likely that this one will soon take over the current Warzone meta. With more Call of Duty around the corner, players have plenty to look forward to if this loadout isn’t for them.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
