The leak comes from Tom Henderson, who has shared insider information regarding Call of Duty: Warzone 2 for months past. This may be Henderson’s biggest leak yet, though. This past week another leaker, Twitter user TheMW2Ghost, shared a digital drawing of a small section of the Warzone 2 map. Henderson appears to have taken that as a challenge, as he’s now released the full map for Warzone 2. The map is surprisingly well-detailed, sans roads, and features all of Warzone 2’s Points of Interest.

One particularly notable aspect of the Warzone 2 map that Henderson calls attention to is the amount of water on it. There’s a large body of water to the south, as well as a river that splits in two directions running north to south. Henderson says that this is because Warzone 2 will allow players to swim for the first time.

Other key areas of the Warzone 2 map include dense areas marked in gray, high verticality marked by dark brown, and a railway track that goes around the map in a large circle. There will be city-scapes, dock areas, industrial zones, a cave system, and plenty of map diversity beyond that. What isn’t clear is what kind of foliage will be spread across the areas between Warzone 2’s POIs.

Another interesting aspect of the Warzone 2 map that Henderson calls attention to is its size. He says that from the impressions he’s built of the Warzone 2 map so far, it “seems bigger” than both Verdansk and Caldera from the current iteration of Warzone. He says the grid in his map should help with direct comparisons.

Those curious about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s leaked massive game mode DMZ will be excited to hear that this map is also said to be used there. DMZ is described as a mode like Escape From Tarkov. Suffice to say, Call of Duty fans will be getting to know this new map intimately, whether it’s through Warzone 2 or DMZ mode in Modern Warfare 2.
