Natalie Casanova, known as ZombiUnicorn, resurfaced an incident from 2017 regarding Jeff Leach, which has placed the actor at the center of another controversy. His sexist comments have spread across multiple news sites, and he has since released a video responding to the allegations. Leach admitted that the statements are wrong, however, several key sponsors are distancing themselves from the streamer.

According to Dexerto, Team Kitchen and Sneak Energy have both ended sponsorship contracts with Jeff Leach. Aim Controllers plans to follow suit as the female-owned company condemns all hateful and degrading speech. The company is taking time to gather more information to ensure that proper responses are taken to this incident. The Call of Duty Ghost Actor has long been a face for Sneak Energy, but it has publically stated that it does not tolerate bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.
Leach has since responded to these allegations stating that the clips were taken out of context. He compares this to character assassination and plans on pursuing legal action against NitroLukeDX, who created the streaming compilation. He plans to speak to his lawyers and his Facebook partnerships manager about the fellow streamer’s video.
This tracks back to May 7, when Jeff Leach was banned from Twitch. Leach claims that his ban was a result of ZombiUnicorn dating a member of the Twitch staff, but ZombieUnicorn denies ever dating a Twitch staff member. According to Dexerto, ZombiUnicorn was dating professional CS:GO player Alexander “Lex” Deily at that time. It is unclear what exactly occurred, but Leach’s ban remains intact.
Leach further claims that Facebook Gaming and Activision were aware of his comments prior to his termination. Despite harassment claims, Activision still hired Leach to voice the character Ghost in the Call of Duty franchise. Leach further suggests that ZombiUnicorn was disgruntled due to rejected sexual advances, but Casanova denies this, stating that they were friendly acquaintances at the time.
